How to Subscribe

Buying a subscription to Digimap for Schools is a simple online process that an authorised member of staff from your school can undertake at any time. You will need the following information:

  1. Your full school postcode.
  2. The name and email address of an authorised staff member who can agree to the Terms and Conditions of the service and who will receive emails from us.
  3. A generic school email address (not a personal one) and finance contact name, to receive the invoice c.30 days after the subscription is placed. You can also add other staff email addresses to keep them informed about training and free resources.
  4. Our supplier information and How To Pay information. You may need your school VAT registration number, company number and charity number (where applicable).

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT PAYMENT BY CHEQUE.

How to Pay

Subscription payments are made to The University of Edinburgh. Payment can be made via bank transfer. We cannot accept payment by cheque.

Payment terms are c.30 days.

Please do not attempt to post, fax or email a purchase order. Please simply enter your purchase order number in the online subscription request form and it will appear on your invoice.

Access for teacher training at a university

If you are responsible for delivery of teacher training at a university you are entitled to free access to Digimap for Schools provided your institution is already a subscriber to Digimap Ordnance Survey Collection (the service for Higher and Further Education).
